About Us

We are not just translating the Gospel into sign language. We are translating the heart of Christ into Deaf Culture.

Deaf Ministry will not grow just because we make resources. It will grow when we raise up Deaf leaders and when we empower, disciple, and send them.

Our mission is to Connect Deaf people to Jesus and to each other.

  • To influence the Deaf in Alabama with our prayers and actions.
  • To build spiritually healthy homes by training up godly men to pray and lead their families.
  • To serve in the community and become prayer partners for others.
  • To deepen followers through Bible studies, discipleship, service, and prayer.
  • To serve in the community and become prayer partners for others.
  • To advance His Kingdom by praying, sending, and supporting.
  • Model and Inspire other states to recognize the need for Deaf Ministries.
  • To awaken a generation by investing in them and praying with them now.

Roughly 1,837 Deaf people die every day without ever encountering the Gospel.

Deaf Ministry can’t wait.

The lack of Deaf leaders being discipled, empowered, and sent.

Without Deaf leaders, the Access to the Gospel stalls. Without discipleship, the movement ends.

Theological Barriers that Persist

  1. Misinterpretation of Romans 10:17 – “Faith comes by hearing…” was wrongly used to claim Deaf people couldn’t receive the Gospel.
  2. Denial of Sacraments & Ministry – Deaf individuals were often prevented from participating fully in church life. Early Churches believed Deafness was a result from sin or devil procession.
  3. Perceived Inferiority Deaf individuals were often viewed as intellectually or spiritually inferior, leading to their exclusion from education, discipleship, and leadership.
These views still exist in some regions, and they continue to keep Deaf people from Christ.
