That means they have no Gospel in their language. They have no community that understands their culture. And there isn’t enough leadership to bring the Heart of Christ to them.
Alabama is known for having churches on every corner, and 3,200 of those are Baptist churches affiliated with SBOM. Of those, only 30 churches — less than 1% — offer any Deaf-accessible ministry.
For Deaf Ministries of Alabama to reach our unreached, we need more awareness, and we need action.
